The decisions of the Muskcogee (Creek) Nation Tribal Courts from 1832 to
the present.
VOLUME 1 includes a short history of Muscogee (creek) Nation Tribal Courts,
an explanation
of the tribe's current governmental structure, a copy of the District Court
Rules, and decisions
issued by the trial court since its reinstatement in 1979.
VOLUMES 2 and 3 contain the remainder of the opinions issued by the trial
court since 1979.
Each opinion in Vol's 1,2, and 3 is prefaced with a case synopsis and a list
of Research Points.
VOLUME 4 contains the rules of The Supreme Court and the opinions issued
by the Supreme Court
since 1979. Like the District Court opinions, these include synopses and
Research Points.
VOLUMES 5,6 and 7 contains transcriptions of the tribal court proceedingsfrom
1832-1906.
These are formatted as closely as possible to the originals. As part of the
effort to preserve
the original format, Research Points and case synopses are not included in
Vol. 5,6 and 7.
VOLUME 8 contains a variety of appendices to facilitate research.
